Saw it in Dolby (my first Dolby experience - IMAX fan), I would say that for this movie, there's likely a significant difference in sound quality that would make the Dolby the preferable venue.

There are hardly any real IMAX venues left.

I choose dolby for the better seats... I know.

Is it real Imax with dual laser projection and huge screen? If yes that is better. If it's fake Imax probably a wash but would lean toward Dolby.

The closest real Imax to me is 45 mins northwest of Atlanta and has terrible seating. So I stick to Dolby Cinema with the comfy recliner that is 10 mins away.

I just saw it in IMAX. I just don’t have the words. I loved every bit.

My son saw it in both, said Dolby was the way to go and the difference was very noticeable

Saw it Tuesday night at Tinseltown in Shreveport in XD. Here’s what Cinemark says about XD. I haven’t been in a theater since the spring of ‘19 and was very impressed with the quality of the screen and sound.

“When you're going out to the movies, you want the biggest, most immersive experience possible. That's where Cinemark XD comes in. Cinemark XD is our premium large-format theatre, with state of the art surround sound and digital projection technology, for a movie experience that puts you right in the action with the characters”
