Our society is worthless at this point. We blame inanimate objects instead of looking inward at what the true problem is.
The US has wasted trillions of dollars fighting drugs for decades. They could have made billions by regulating them and put many gangs/drug lords out of business. They never thought about what made people do drugs irresponsibly and just blamed the drugs.
If they come after firearms it will be even more money and blood lost.
We have a people problem not an *insert inanimate object here* problem.

I will likely get down voted to oblivion for this, but maybe the NRA should consider suspending their event or moving it to another state due to the proximity of the school massacre.
Being less in your face has helped with a lot of pro gun causes like hunting. When I was young, people would strap their trophy over the hood of their car and it would light the soy ferries up. Anti-hunting and anti-gun was at an all time high.... then poof, we stopped seeing people do this. Maybe, more trucks where our fresh meat could be more concealed was the ticket or maybe, the word just got around to stop doing that. Same with posting kills on FB and social media. Just go about our business. Picking our hill to die on.
Anyway, delaying he NRA event might be wise even it if costs some cash in broken contracts.
