FYI USVI has dropped their Covid travel requirements (proof of vaccination or negative test 5 days prior to arrival) effective June 1.

Great news. Now I just need the BVI to follow suit. We’re spending a week on Jost late July.

I’m not holding out hope for that one. Sure would be awesome though!

This change really didn’t do much but eliminate the screening portal. You didn’t have to test negative to arrive or depart anymore as a vaccinated citizen. You still have to test negative to arrive back into USVI if you come from BVI.
Going to Jost soon and they still require a negative test to get in and we have to test negative to return to USVI coming home.

It helps my family and me for our trip in July. No testing requirement takes some of the stress out of our trip.

This is awesome. We arrive June 1st, so was about to fill out the portal application. One less thing to do.

So if you are not vaccinated you can both come and go from the mainland US without any testing?

Wait - the US VI has dropped the negative test requirement, and our idiots at the US federal level haven't?

The USVI still requires a negative test if you come from anywhere outside US. The only thing they took away was the travel portal process which everyone had to do regardless of vaccination. So if you fly down and head over to BVI you still gotta test negative to get back.
