I can't find the study, but i'm 99% sure there's at least one reputable one that says a child who doesn't have a father at home, but lives in a community full of 2 parent households, will fare just about as well as the 2-parent household kids.
I’m going to need you to find this because I find I to very hard to believe.

this whole ‘it takes a village’ BS is not true - it just passes responsibility off for when something happens - it’s a good excuse for single ‘parenting’
It’s absolutely is true. It was just stated when the village consisted of your entire family, that other family’s entire family, and so on and so forth.
It was never meant that it was the municipal, state, or federal governments responsibility. It meant that relying on grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, so on and so forth will help make a better individual than someone only interacting with parents.

America has a lot wrong with it and needs a lot of things. But one thing in short supply is fathers.
The world is battling this..it's not just an American problem. The one father (God) many of these kids have is being hidden from them by those in power for fear that that a younger generation my reach their full potential and not be dependent on those in power anymore. Teach them about all their disadvantages and let them know it's due to no fault of their own BUT the cards are stacked against them and the only way out is by grabbing their hand.

The problem with all of shite like this, is the fact that the media WON'T talk about it and the public CAN'T talk about it. It's offensive or racist or misogynist or some other bull shite.

Agreed. In the sense that parents are not enough, the village (and government) are required - that's not true, and that's what the left means when it uses the phrase.
In the sense that a village should work to support the parents and help raise the village kids, then yes, it's absolutely true and that's the way we're designed to work in my opinion.

Thank a democratic voter. For over 60 years they have been dividing the family unit to keep family churn happening so they can keep voters indebted to them.
Can you expand on this? I’m not sure I follow. I’m just asking for some examples of this. I definitely agree the idea of a supportive family unit has been deteriorating over the last 60 years, but I’m not following the claim you’re making about government influence being the cause

I might suggest that going on TV and saying "fathers are supposed to be the leaders and backbone of a family, which should consist of mom, dad, and children" is more or less hate speech according to the current administration.
Obviously the reality is more complex, but I think that reality provides an insight as to how government has, at best, approved of the deterioration of fatherhood/the family.

Should have been an aborted kid

Thank you. That’s very clear and very obvious.
Also we have immature men knocking women up, then leaving those responsibilities because they don’t want to deal with the consequences of their reality. I don’t think we can blame that piece of this solely on the govt.

Fatherless homes could be discouraged by refusing to subsidize child support. If your baby daddy leaves, go find a man. The govt ain’t your man.
What if the mother just doesn't?

Then the child should be given up and the mother sterilized.
Or where is that village everyone is taking about instead of taking responsibility for your own actions

Ahh, the old immunization rationale.

any man can be father. not all fathers are dads.
Laurence Fishburne's character in Boyz N The Hood had a great quote on this. He said "Any fool with a dick can make a baby, but it takes a real man to be a father and raise his kids."

Or better, how about not having a baby daddy until they’ve found a man?

Obviously I am no expert, but it just seems like kids are not disciplined today.. If they are, then they must take a different approach, but parents have more of a friendship with their kids.. I guess that's good, kids and teenagers needs some type of discipline. Its just natural that kids and teenagers will do stupid shite and when their parents are more like their friends instead of being worried about their parents finding out, its the first people they call to help them get out of trouble.
Then when you have a single parent home (which is usually the mother raising the kids) they lack that balance. One parent can't teach them everything and if the parents are divorced and they have to go back and forth, they are not getting the stability kids need. But even if its not their father, they need some type of male influence.

What if she doesn't do that either?
Note: I'm not trying to be a contrarian, I'm just proposing the most likely scenarios.
Take away the government assistance, and who really suffers, the mother or the child?
Posted on 5/25/22 at 1:43 pm to kywildcatfanone
They pay mothers to have bastard children and the man just evades responsibility while mommy keeps getting tax dollars. The kid has no chance.

Throw her arse in prison then. If she's popping out 19 kids and can't afford to take care of any of them, she should be imprisoned for child abuse, not paid per kid.
Subsidizing and championing single motherhood has got to stop.
