So there really is some suspicion that it was Strickland?? Everything I've seen so far seems to indicate that it was for sure Armstrong.
That’s just my takeaway from reading the article. The gun used was Armstrong’s, but biker guy purchased it for her and had access to it.
Unless there’s physical/DNA/ evidence, it’s certainly not an open and shut case.

RealDawg - I met him once at an event and he seemed like a good dude to me. What did he do to make you say he was a complete narcissist?

Very sad situation and Strickland isn't completely innocent here. He picked up his ex to go swimming and have dinner and lied to his live-in girlfriend about it, who he knew was a little crazy.
While I've never actually cheated on a committed relationship, in my younger days I dated around and definitely had one ex who was a little crazy/stalkerish, you know the one ex you hope doesn't show up at your wedding 5 years later or shoots your new partner.

Cyclist? Yeh, gonna need some pics that include her legs also, just for a proper analysis.

Narcissists can very much appear to be good people. In fact, appearing as so is part of who they are.
This situation was typical for the person he was. I’m going to leave it at that for reasons.
He has already been caught in conflicted accounts of what was going on. Can’t believe somebody let him put out that statement.

Suspect is still on the run correct?

It's pretty well known in the elite gravel scene that Colin Strickland was a dick before all this...

Ole boy snuck away to bone Mo but Kait was up on his arse and stalked em. This is 27% his fault.

She had some scary posts on Reddit also.
Dude had a few legit pro offers but stayed with gravel racing. Red Bull primarily sponsored.
Cycling girl world is small and waaayy more full of crazy than you would think.
I went down a rabbit hole today about this case and came out wondering why everyone in that "scene" is so fricking crazy. Apparently Strickland would stick his dick in anything that walks. Basically everything you said checks out. There's a crusty racer girl commenting on some cycling website about how Strickland was a narcissist who left every girl he was with in ruins. Then right in turn a bunch of people called her out for cheating on her boyfriend with him and going after her for being a stuck up bitch. Not a dull moment in the gravel cycling world it seems.

Any chick that gets her clam smashed on a bike seat for hours on end for fun isn't right in the head. Same can be said for the dudes and I'm one of them.

cross between elite athletes and granola hippies. gravel scene is a tad different than your standard road/mtn elite cycling.

All the competitive cycling disciplines and many other sports draws out a type. They are focused on themselves..don’t mind being in pain…competitive.
Mostly heavily liberal but also hypocritical af.
Gravel is more granola than others disciplines. Most of them wouldn’t be elite in the other disciplines.

Cyclists don't age very well it seems, kind of rough looking.

agree with the first and the last part. not so much with the statement in the middle. Just because that describes Colin Strickland definitely doesnt mean it's across the board.

kind of a cross between road and mountain, with an emphasis on gravel roads obviously. it's big in the midwest and Appalachian mountains where there are lots of gravel forest roads, etc
