Lea’s of Lecompte has a spot there. Get the fried chicken and lemon icebox pie.

If you like to hunt and fish, you might have a good time. They got some golf courses too. Last time I was in town the waterfront grill always had decent food. Enjoy!

Coming from Alabama it won’t be much different than what you’re used to. Similar to other Deep South cities of that size. Good sides of town and bad sides of town. Good food. Good access to fishing and hunting. Nothing to write home about but not that bad either.

I’d recommend live in West Monroe or Ruston and work in Monroe.

Monroe is the cultural hub for the region, nay the state. If I lived in Roman times I would live in rome so as I live in monrovian times I would live in Monroe

Nice place. Most everyone is friendly. You won’t get mugged or carjacked. Traffic is light. And there’s plenty of good restaurants.

Go hit up the swinger scene on the north side. Find the chef, or lawyer, or orthodontist that’ll let you bang them or their wife.
