Really excited for this. I really enjoyed the book. Was surprised Amazon green lit it tbh.

Not woke at all, hope they didn’t frick it up like they did with Jack Ryan.

Ah. This author was on Rogan yesterday and seemed intrigued. I had never heard of it. Good interview

IIRC politicians are grouped as one entity and the big bad is the federal government as a whole. I do no recall a lot of dem/rep convo or it being one-sided.

Which, imo, is the correct and accurate way to represent the federal government.

Yes he has been on Rogan a couple of times. The first appearance is what made me pick the book up.

Most of them are criminals, regardless of party affiliation.

The book was brutal and this looks like how I pictured the book. Pratt was the driving force behind getting it made and they’re supposed to be working on book 2 already. I can’t wait.

Nice to see Riggens getting some roles

Normally I avoid celebrity type interviews and know nothing of Carr but I really enjoyed the interview. Probably pick the book up.

Chris Pratt continues his reign appearing to not be a Hollywood douche bag. Rogan had a comment about him being the most normal person in Hollywood last week as well.

Happy to see him in a darker role.

Chris Pratt is an A+ funny likable guy. Chris Pratt is a D+ super cool serious brooding guy. Chris Pratt really really wants to be a serious brooding guy.

If you can do comedy well, you should be able to handle drama too. Robin Williams and Tom Hanks were comedians first.

Pratt has jumped from comedy to action well.

The entire James Reece series of books is great. Just picked up book 5 and looking forward to starting it.

The only action role I remember him taking without comedy is Zero Dark Thirty.

All his other action roles have depended on a decent element of comedy (GotG, Jurassic World, Passengers, whatever that Amazon one was last year.)

Same for me. The most recent one comes in today. Not usually what I read, but really got into them. The books set up some dream scenarios for people who hunt.
