The wife and I were planning a trip to Italy. Since we're "purebloods" aka no covid vax and havent had it in the past 6 months, we cant go with the info I'm reading. Does anyone know if this information is correct before I book tickets, hotels, etc?

When is your trip?

Decent chance all that gets scrapped in next few months.

We were trying to plan to go over July 4th, or the middle of July.

Here’s a link to the current entry requirements:

LINK

If you haven’t been vaxed, you will need:

A medical certificate confirming recovery from COVID valid for six months from recovery.

OR

A negative molecular PCR test result carried out within 72 hours of arrival or a rapid antigen test result carried out within 48 hours of arrival.

These rules are only in effect until June 15, so it could be different by the time you travel.

Could need it by then. No clue of knowing. However if you wanted to travel to Europe or UK and don’t want to ruin your pure blood status, there are other countries that don’t care anymore.

By travel insurance. Heard a story about friend of a friend recently being stuck coming back from Italy because of a Covid positive test. 10 days in the hotel for the "extended" trip. In the room only with meals delivered. Cost was covered by the travel insurance they purchased.
