I was in Boardman Oregon and it was112....felt perfect in the shade

I think the difference here is that Delhi has humidity too

The smell must have been terrible. It got over 100 when I was there a couple years ago. It was miserable and the air quality probably took a couple years off my life.

I remember reading somewhere about the pollution that just living in Delhi gives you the lungs of a pack a day smoker.

That is the kicker here for an American. This time of year Delhi is reasonably dry but not quite like Arizona but it is a (kinda) dry heat and yes there is a difference. But at 120 deg the pungent order would be insufferable if you weren't accustomed to it.
