In order to say that vaccines cause variants it is up to those making the assertion to prove that they do, not for those opposed to prove that they don’t. Otherwise we could assert that posting on tigerdroppings causes variants and lord it over you that you can’t prove otherwise.

Anyway it is very imprecise to say that vaccines cause variants. What they do is to suppress most variants. This means that if there is a variant that is uninhibited by vaccines that variant will probably thrive simply because the vaccine has mowed down its competitors. In that case, the vaccine didn’t create any variants, it just favored one over others.

Then CDC shouldn't be declaring that they don't.

They've made the definitive statement, apparently without any data or studies to support the statement.

Applying your logic, it is the CDC's burden.

You are an idiot. That is exactly the assertion of how vaccines can cause variants.

No, the watchdog group is simply responding to the CDC’s assertion that vaccines prevent variants. The burden is on the CDC to prove that.

Wrong answer libtard, when you try and make something mandatory for the whole world you need to provide data saying it doesn't cause variants because billions of people are going to be affected. When plenty of data has shown the more vaxxed a country is the higher the positive and death rate are. You fricking libs need to pull your common sense out of your back pockets.

What if it’s thriving because the vaccinated don’t have the same depth of natural immunity as the unvaccinated?

I don’t have any proof, much like the CDC it seems, hence I pose it as a question not a statement. But when omnicron was going around it sure seemed like it was mainly the vaccinated around the workplace having to take off after testing positive.

The cdc is the one making the assertion that needs to be proven here moron.

You continue to prove you are the poster with the largest gap between perceived intelligence and actual intelligence.

Give it up already. They are lying. And this is a fricking idiotic take. The only ones making claims is the cdc and they can’t back up their claims.
