Inner city black youth have more access to education than almost anyone, and most of it is free. They can go to college......for free. They will then be given preferential treatment in whatever job market they enter after graduation.

They have every advantage they could ask for as far as education goes. They, and their families, just don't give a shite. There is little value to them in an education.

All they have to do is try, just a little. Just be barely, even almost qualified, and they’ll get the college admission, the scholarship, and the job. They’ll get it over the over qualified white guy most times.

These young men claim to have excelled at Tara High…they simply chose another path.
