/that’s a terrible thing. I rarely wear the kill cord. Gotta keep this in mind.

I try to wear mine every time my motor is cranked, and I also try to make it a habit to tell anyone in the boat with me to tell me to put it on if they notice I'm not wearing it. Its very rare I catch myself not wearing it; its becoming a good habit finally after owning a boat for 5 years.

I am 66 and fish by myself quite often. I always make it a point to wear a life belt while the boat is in motion and the kill switch. Given my age , I should really wear the life belt at all times.

Been thrown out a flat with a 60 tiller. It definitely happens before you know it.

Reminded me of faceplanting on a knee board as a kid. If you know how fast that happens, you know what I mean. Especially if it peeled your eyelids back, lol.

West cove can get shallow. What do we think he hit that caused him to fall out?

I need to do better. I wear life jackets and use the kill switch on jet skis but I can't even tell when the last time I did on my boat. I was out yesterday in 20+ mph winds catching stripers and it really is dumb to not use the switch every time.
