So, I just watched the first episode of Arcane on Netflix and I'm intrigued. Is season one good?
This was based on a video game?
Also, did the actress from the Expanse (Avasarala) do the voice over for the Gestapo lady (small part in episode one)?

Get through episode 3 and then you’ll know just how great this show really is. One of the better things to come out in a while.

They do some great world building and every character gets fleshed out pretty well, even minor ones except maybe a few random guard/soldier types.
It is just high quality storytelling. The typical video game to movie process outsources everything to directors/actors that have nothing to do with the game. This was made by the people that have been building this world for years and it shows.

This was one of the best animated series I have seen. Oner of the better things available right now.

For being based on a video game series played by mostly 12 year olds it’s a pretty solid show. Didn’t realize how much I would like it but it’s one of my favorite Netflix shows now
