Need to freshen up the foot on a white minn Kota. What would the OB do ? I’ve read all the other forums but I know this is where the experts post.

I assuming someone can recommend a marine grade paint that matches, but me personally, I would go with a $.99 rattle can from walmart and reapply as needed.

What about those cool foot thingies?

I thought maybe I read you could use appliance paint. Maybe I'm wrong.

I'd go with a cool foot if you don't mind spending the money, they're actually useful if you fish barefoot

Pretty sure he's trying to paint the motor, not a pedal

I used white flex seal (rubber stuff). It has held up much better than paint.

How long has it been since you flex sealed it ?

a little over a year...
I used a plastic grocery bag and painters tape to match the lines and cover the blade.

I'm the guy that would complete disassemble it and have it powder coated.

Wire brush. Remove any rust. Prime. Paint. Don’t over think it.

Use Zinc Cromate(sp?) primer. It holds the paint on much better.
