It’s not that bad, but I don’t think he merits #3. For a corner to go that high he needs to be able to erase all but about a half dozen receivers (who can’t be erased). Stingley has never shown that.
However, he is an excellent corner who certainly merited at least the 12th pick, so I don’t think they’ll be very disappointed.

Stingley showed everything the NFL needed to see well before the SECCG in 2019.
