Don’t make it about Biden, he will sign it if it passes, it’s the Republican senators that will vote it down.

Do you think the left doesn't find plausible justifications like this for all the crap they want to control via legislative fiat?

Which is why of course you believe alcohol and cigarettes should be outlawed - as well as big, sugary drinks?

Here's the info that everyone in this thread is asking for:

Exactly, you’re either for personal liberty or you’re not. Both Dems and R’s consistently show they are not

While I am not against marijuana, let us not act like decriminalizing marijuana is some magical good thing.
So, the bar for NOT making illegal substances/practices for consenting adults is it has to be "some magical good thing"?

OMG could you imagine the political victory it would be if the republicans passed the bill and then it was vetoed by biden? The MSM spin would create a tornado

The deadbeat losers in my town, where weed is legal, don't even smoke it. They prefer heroin, crack, and alcohol. If you don't believe it, you're welcome to visit. Those homeless looking people that are walking around looking like zombies are called heroin addicts, not potheads.

That is because marijuana is a gateway drug for many. Same with alcohol. Some people can smoke marijuana or drink without issues their whole life, but many cannot.

Legalizing weed does not make some magical unicorn world, it will get shittier where legalized.

I personally know a few people on the political fence. R's jumping on board to get this legal would be enough for them to pick a side. And if I know a few, imagine how many there are.

What percentage of Republicans favor marijuana legalization? As opposed to society as a whole? Less or more? And also the bill is long because they all are, it is to decriminalize weed and expunge records, which do you oppose?

Any reason you can't ever just answer what I asked you?

no it’s really not. Those same people also smoke cigarettes and drink. Are those gateway drugs too? No it’s that if your willing to do meth or heroin of course your going to do all sorts of other substances especially weaker ones.

Yeah something tells me either the OP is ignorant to the entirety of the bill or they aren't being honest.

All I am saying, we should just stereolize the weed smokers. Legalize it and not let them breed, they are weak anyways. Breed out those bad genes.
