This is your post. You admit you didn’t look up the laws. Even had the state wrong. I know your little sensitive arse can only retort to name calling so keep it up. Clown

Why would I have looked them up before that point? I had made no assertions or statements. OP did. I asked which law he thought should be applied. OP didn’t know. So I looked it up myself. Nice job ignoring all of my other posts, you strawman building fricking clown

Alec has to live with killing a woman, I’m sure that weighs heavy on him.

Alec Baldwin is a piece of shite. I bet he hasn't lost a wink of sleep over this incident.

What low bar does one have to reach in life to find yourself defending a PoS like Alec Baldwin on a message board?

LOL. You would have to be a truly stupid mother fricker to sign up for that level of liability.

I discuss a whole host of things on the OT, as well as on other boards. That doesn’t get noticed. It’s simply that the hive mind notices my posts when they violate the norms of the hive mind. Observation bias, if you will.

I never expected him to face justice. His buddies in the liberal press/media will see to it.

As an actor I've liked many of his roles (Dr Death, Glen Gary, Hunt for Red October) but as a person I would think he's a prick.

There are many professions were if you make a mistake people die, and you willingly accept that level liability.

You always say this every time you are called out At what point do you accept that perhaps you maybe just trend a certain way without realizing it? (even though we all know you realize it)

Victim's family most likely received several millions and charges were dropped.

What's his net worth anyways? 60 million? Well, there you go.

Click my name and skim my posts. Let me know how many threads (other than this one) I posted on you have to get though before you hit a thread that’s “on trend” for me. Then keep going. What would you say the ratio is?

It’s simple observation bias. I generally don’t remember who I interact with on here unless they say something particularly interesting, or particularly stupid. And even then, I usually forget after a week or two. I can’t imagine any of you are much different in that respect.

Name one where you accept that level of liability while letting other people execute the dangerous tasks. Just one.

If it was an accident, he doesn’t deserve to be charged with anything.

He can still have civil lawsuits brought against him though.

Every single employer can be held liable for the negligent actions of a employee.

NM does not have a homicide charge called negligent homicide.

But they do have an involuntary manslaughter law:

2020 New Mexico Statutes
Chapter 30 - Criminal Offenses
Article 2 - Homicide
Section 30-2-3 - Manslaughter.

quote:

Manslaughter is the unlawful killing of a human being without malice.

A. Voluntary manslaughter ...

B. Involuntary manslaughter consists of manslaughter committed in the commission of an unlawful act not amounting to felony, or in the commission of a lawful act which might produce death in an unlawful manner or without due caution and circumspection.

Whoever commits involuntary manslaughter is guilty of a fourth degree felony.
