This dude was arguing a point but trying to make everyone do the research for him. He’s an idiot and obviously knows nothing about gun safety. Movie, play, shite- imaginary game outside. You NEVER point a gun at ANYONE.

But he was acting, No he wasn’t, he was being a careless dipshit that took someone’s life. Now did he do it on purpose? Who knows. But there has to be some penalty in taking a life because of negligence.

Countless actors in movies have pointed guns at people and pulled the trigger. Because it is… a movie. The expectation of the gun having a live round in it is very different from a normal life scenario.

If you want to know the truth, I don’t give a frick that you don’t give a frick. Just here to note how refreshing it is not to see you write a full blown book report of a post.

It's fair to say that its obvious some people are above the law. It didn't used to be that way and its sad.

Just because it’s a movie and you don’t “expect “ something to happen doesn’t mean you aren’t at fault for negligence. That’s when gun safety is even MORE important.

People only want him charged because he made fun of Trump for so long.
No one wanted the guy that killed Bruce Lee's son charged.
The fault lay in the hands of the propmaster and armorer.
Gun should not have been live.

You think John Wayne checked to see if the gun had a live round in it before every shot?

Liberals would be screaming from the gates of hell for Trump to be charged if he accidentally killed someone like Baldwin had done.

It doesn’t matter if he did or not. Still doesn’t give an excuse for negligence.
You know if you were in this situation you wouldn’t be here typing today.

The rich and powerful people are subjected to a different set of laws. It's why you'll never see guys like Trump and Biden go down for the crimes they committed.

Other than this post, I haven’t seen much on it recently.

Baldwin would be leading the charge if Trump had done this.

Are you retarded?

OP made an assertion. I asked them what it was based on. No one could answer. I then looked up the statute, posted it, and gave a brief analysis.

I swear, I don’t know how some of you function on a daily basis.

Eta: Obtuse is the real MVP, though. No way I was jumping on Lexis at 10pm for the OT

Yes he would.

The production hires an armorer whose job it is to be the person who takes the responsibility for all matters involving the firearms on set and who the takes on the liability in regards to them.

It's not the actors responsibility to know how to operate every firearm they touch or know the difference between a live round or a blank in the firearms they act with.

If anyone is liable here, it's likely the armorer. the actor's job is to act, confidently knowing that someone was hired and on set to load, perform maintenance on, and deliver the proper firearms.

This is almost as idiotic as Joshjrn. YOU HAVE A LETHAL WEAPON IN YOUR HANDS BRO. frickIEN CHECK THE CHAMBER!

There should be no "want to" with a gun. You checked it or you didn't. Good talk.

|I honestly haven’t gone digging through the criminal statutes in what I assume was California. I’m simply surprised that so many on this board seem to have done so, at least based on their certainty regarding the subject.

Eta: New Mexico, apparently.|

This is your post. You admit you didn’t look up the laws. Even had the state wrong. I know your little sensitive arse can only retort to name calling so keep it up. Clown
