Question on Twitter about why unvaxed blood seems cherished by blood banks

I found this question interesting as I've personally noticed this same phenomenon myself while donating.
In my experience earlier this month, I identified as a pure blood whilst taking the rapid pass pre-donor questionnaire, and then about 2 business days later I got a call verifying that I was pureblood (think she used a different term tho). I asked why this follow up - are they going to arrest me hahaha (but I'm genuinely kinda freaked out by this) and she says no, not at all, they tagged my blood based on its type and also my survey answer (thus the follow up call) and hope to use it in the manner that Twitter lady spelled out. I said fine and considered making a smartaleck comment, then thought better of it.

I don’t know your answer, but there’s obviously something screwed up going on. The question is, will we ever know, or is the cover up that good?

They are verifying contact info of the non-compliant. She is doing nothing with the database, however, the people who get the database, well they are planning their next move.
