What my “garbage” has sold for over the last 90 days ***photo heavy thread***

A lot of people have asked me to show what my stuff sold for, that I only show what I find.
This is just from eBay, it doesn’t include things sold on FB and directly to friends, such as the e-tool for $120, LSU bank for $65, and an off brand Big Green Egg for $60.
The following total $3345, averaging almost $55 an item. I shoot for $50 an item.
Plus right now, I have almost $300 in bids on active auctions.
“Who buys this trash?”

Scruffy would have bought that Metallica poster.

That was from nearly two months ago.

Did scruffy see the ww1 helmet I got and wrote a song inspired by?
Think Iron Maiden-esque
Cradle of the Tomb
He runs out into no man’s land,
He knows not what awaits,
He’s fleeing from the poison gas,
That crawls like creeping hate,
Upon this field of thunder,
The manic hoofbeats pound,
Yeah Men are going under,
For every inch of ground,
But here inside his helmet,
He finds no hero there,
No villain, just a scared boy,
Who cries out in despair
For all the propaganda,
There’s No solace in this place,
A pointless persecution,
A hell without escape
In the cradle of the tomb,
He stands alone,
Battle mother’s brazen womb,
He’s lost at home,
He can see the ghastly visage
Feel his chill,
Now in the cradle of the tomb,
Defiant still
He finds his feet beneath him,
And takes a violent breath,
Hell rising up to meet him,
He grinning dares on death,
He will not go down gently,
Or quiet in the night,
Though the doom may drag him down,
He won’t go down without a fight,
Amongst the blood he’s born,
The smoke and gloom,
Lullaby within the storm,
In the cradle of the tomb
In the cradle of the tomb,
He stands alone,
Battle mother’s brazen womb,
He’s lost at home,
He can see the ghastly visage
Feel his chill,
Now in the cradle of the tomb,
Defiant still
Strewn around this cemetery,
The bones of broken brave,
In this endless ossuary,
Consumed in violent grave,
Plunged into the maw of madness
Now His silent soul stands still,
With his grin bared in Defiance,
Grit, a triumph of the will
His eyes are never closing,
Ever staring down his doom,
Trapped forever in the battle,
In the cradle of the tomb
In the cradle of the tomb,
He stands alone,
Battle mother’s brazen womb,
He’s lost at home,
He can see the ghastly visage
Feel his chill,
Now in the cradle of the tomb,

What was profit? And how many hours, then divide by profit. Just curious. Not knocking you because I think you do this more for the thrill and enjoyment than for the money.

You are correct, I do it for the hunt, not the money. I would have to go back and look, but I would guess I have $700 or so in this. But that $700 was from other sales.

I know there’s a song in that E-tool I bought too.
Just haven’t found it yet, but I can feel it
Something about no man’s land and finding himself in a trench and killing men with a shovel.
Or them coming over his trench and his gun jamming and the melee battle ensuing. It’s bloody and gory for sure, like all my war pieces
Ooooooohhhh…”digging in”
He’s digging in,
Piercing skin,
Bloodlust rising up again,
No man’s land,
Die or damned,
Facing off, ‘Gainst fellow man…
Eh, maybe

It’s a great keyword to put into your title (vtg, mcm, nos, mip, mib)

I didn’t know I’d enjoy this as much as I did.

I just went back and added up what I have into those 61 items, it’s right at $500 (+or-$20).

I would have been on that Jeremy Bulloch 8x11
Posted on 4/13/22 at 2:13 am to theantiquetiger
Many of these don’t show a bid, so they haven’t sold. Also assuming you’re including those jacked up shipping costs, which are 50% of the cost on a lot of these items ($10 shipping on $20 item) - which if correct are an expense to you, not money in your pocket

I just bought last Saturday. They had $5 on it and I nearly passed on it, but decided at the last minute to get it. I didn’t realize it was from WDW. The original sticker was still on the back for $95.

$500 profit for 90 days and probably a heavy amount of work isn’t a serious money generating activity. Not sure why you made a post to act like it is

Not $500 profit, I have $500 invested, with $3345 in sales, so after fees, around $3000 in gross profits, $2500 net.

Imma roll my trash can into your front yard and have a blind auction

Everything posted has sold, screen shots straight from my sold items.
The ones not showing bids were Buy it Now purchases.

Confession: Your YouTube videos of the estate sales were more fun than expected, even though I haven’t seen one in a while.
Didn’t think I’d enjoy that as much as I did.
