I hire and promote engineers. I've tried to promote women engineers and about half the time they turn it down for quality of life reasons. Men never have done that. This is another big factor in the pay gap.

Women also don't feel the pressure to become a "provider" like men. Women know they don't have to necessarily have a good career to attract a good man but can use their good career to get an in with the type of man they want (being a nurse can allow you to cross paths with doctors). Men on the other hand MUST have a good career and workhard for money if they hope to support a woman/family and women still expect a provider man in their dating choices. We have given women more opportunity but women have not changed their expectations for what they expect in life from the opposite sex. Women are often cheered for simply doing what men have done for thousands of years, and that's quietly work and provide for family/spouse without any thanks or external display of appreciation. When the feminist cheering stops women don't like to stick around much and props do the women who do. None of this is an attack on the intelligence of women either, just simple easily observable behavioral patterns.

But, teachers should get paid as much as pro athletes!!!!!!

I don't even dare argue against that with my wife any longer.

Hair dye is apparently a natural retardant.

There were 30 women as freshmen. She’s a junior and there are 12 left.

Only 1 in 12 incoming freshman earned a Bachelors degree in the College of Engineering in the 90's at the state college I attended (UC).

This is proof that colleges are pushing people through just like high schools do the past few decades without actually teaching them.

As the Dean of our Department was known to say (he taught a class every quarter that all students were required to take) "Not all students should earn an engineering degree. Do you want to drive over a bridge, ride in a car, fly in a plane designed by an engineer who is not capable?".

Electrical engineering at Tech is no joke.

There were not a lot of women at Tech when I was there 30 years ago. The ones that were were mostly in the Biology program which I didn't even know existed until I had to take an effects of radiation biology course. lol

That's exactly the question.

what is wrong about the argument, presentation, or appeal to women that doesn't convince them, even in the face of an obvious answer.

There is nothing wrong with the conservative argument. The problem is women do not vote based on logic. They vote based on feeling. "I think of a man and I take away reason and accountability."

Women make poor voters, they make poor politicians, they make poor soldiers, they make poor pretty much a lot of things that we've idiotically attempted to shoehorn them into in the past 100+ years. They consistently vote for the big government candidate, they consistently vote against their best interest and everyone else's best interest all because one side of the aisle can only appeal to emotions and feelings.

19th amendment was a truly massive frickup by those idiots in the early 20th Century and one that will likely be another death knell to this nation.

Nursing and political science are the most popular degrees for women. Y’all are outliers.

Having the talent to do something doesn’t mean someone has the drive to do it.

You have to have work ethic and make good decisions in order to realize potential.

Your family is one of the rare and high quality exception. I wish there were more balance between the sexes when it comes to logic and I wish it was overall higher, but it clearly isn't. I am sure you have experienced the differences throughout your life.

The comment about the female bell curve being narrower with fewer geniuses and retards and much more average intelligence is strikingly accurate.

My wife is a lot smarter than me in many ways. She struggled with programming, where as, I excelled at it. She loves teaching kids, so that is her profession, but I think she could have done almost anything - even programming. I was drawn to her intelligence and looks ;-). I was lucky.

Same. lol

I still remember the 3 chicks that went through the program with me. They were also really cute.

Marxism isn’t considered a philosophy emphasis, hence the IQ average.

I think you should take away that there are data labels missing, meaning someone has deliberately shaped what you should take away from the chart.

This is why we are making HUGE headway with moms by using the insane anti-family, anti-kids and anti-girl programs the Democrats are foolishly forcing on the country.

Bio-man in women sports directly impacts girls and even the most emotional ones can understand and get emotionally angry about it.

Teaching sex to children is something that an emotional decision can quickly be made and women are programmed to protect children.

Red wave is coming. BTW, it might be hard for Democrats to get them back once the emotional switch has happened.

If you want a lot of girls in your class then take some easy sociology classes for your electives.

I had a sophomore level sociology class as an elective. The instructor tried all semester to get me to change my major to education. That’s all I remember about it.

I told her If this was the old Soviet Union and was told to be a teacher.. I would defect. That is how far away from education I was.

And no sane junior accounting major would swap to education. Not one that was passing anyway.

Now most all of my in laws are in education. There must have be a senior level class in education that teaches you how to successfully bitch about your job. For a profession that gets a quarter of the year off, they sure gripe about working conditions and pay.

My guess is that they have both an inflated sense of what they do as well as hating their job.

Same deal as people in HR, whose main purpose in life seems to be fricking with people who actually pull the wagon because they make more money than HR workers.
