Yesterday while spraying my yard, I noticed what appeared to be moths from Sod Worms. They were only in a small area, but they sure looked like the real thing. Could they be out this early??

Seems early. However, don't panic yet as the moth's doing do any specific damage. Once you see grass blades start to get chewed, it's time to stick it to their offspring. Usually late summer for me.

It would be really really early for web worms. There are hundreds of moths with many looking the same.

Had them real bad a year ago, destroyed my whole back yard in 2 weeks. Yalstar or Biden knocked em out but handles a ton of other bugs also. Now I hit the yard pretty regularly just as insurance

I had them a coupe years ago. Small tan moths everywhere. I didnt know what they were and then I noticed my grass start to thin. I applied Talstar which is a granual and Bifen which is liquid applicator. Worked great and no longer have any issues

Keep an eye on them they will smoke your yard with the quickness.

One summer, I went from noticing a brown patch or two to one week later 2/3 of the yard was brown.
