I mean gutting the program, losing all high rated players from the incoming recruiting class and essentially forfeiting our first round game to Iowa State has to count for something right?

I dunno but thats twice they've struck right before march madness. Timing is awfully convenient. NCAA can lick my ballsak and I hope NIL kills them off.

Explain how firing a coach for cause, who at least lied to the AD on an ethics issue when re-negotiating his employment agreement, is the same as "imposing a death penalty."

Methinks you don't know what "death penalty" means though.
LSU will likely receive far less of a penalty for getting rid of the source of the problem. LSU will continue to play basketball...without the "savior" who couldn't win with the players he paid for.

Should never cooperate with the NCAA, I guarantee that cartel piles on what's already happening, should just learn from UNC and Kansas, only thing UNC got was some slap on the hand punishment for fighting them
