The Patio Lounge is the place you're looking for.

I just want to glimpse how the other half lives. What are the more upscale bars in our city ? Since the Happy Note closed I just haven’t been myself. I’m talking fancy places. Like The Jefferson in my hood. Like where they light your shot on fire and the barmaid is named something like Bobette. Thanks in advance for your valued assholery.

The bars at Ruth's, Ruffinos and Sullivans are popular with fancy folks. Churchills too.
Also the Hayride Scandal is a nice cocktail lounge.

I avoid all of these places for that reason.

In all seriousness CJ's Daiquiris right by there is one of my fave dive bars when I'm not at Ivar's. Good inexpensive drinks. And daqs for the ladies if they want one.

I would like Ruth’s bar better if they didn’t have tables for dining in there. We ate there last night and while waiting for our table, had a drink in the bar.. and it was just awkward standing amongst people trying to dine.

Ah frick me. You're right, fagbutt.
Yes. Mid City Beer Garden is GREAT. I've been a few times. Good fancy drinks and lots of them fancy beers people like.
REALLY good food too(it's Dave Remmetter of Chelsea's place).

They were psychotic during Covid and I can’t get past it.

Although.. so was Bulldog and I forgave them easily.

Jubans bar uses to be the shite years ago. I mean, decades ago. Plus I could then stumble over to the Caterie.

Speaking of. Jubans is about to open back up. I bet the bar will be 'bussin' as the kids say.
