Add natural gas line for tri-fuel generator

I am trying to upgrade my generator situation this year after getting by during Ida with a Honda 3500W gasoline generator. That thing was great, but I hated having to wait in lines at the gas station. I also don't want to pay $10,000 for a whole-home generator either. So I decided a cheaper option would be a tri-fuel generator to run off my gas line like this one.
My question is, how much should I expect to pay to add a new natural gas line to feed this generator? Recommended contractors or other advice is also welcome.

Just buy a long hose. Im about to convert my generator. You might be able to convert your Honda. I plan on unhooking my dryer or something and using a hose to generator.

Where are you hooking it up, electrically? Or are you going to just put a drop on the back porch and run extension cords? The extra drop could also be used for a NG burner.
I simply had a plumber add a tee between the meter and the house. The parts were maybe $40. He was already hooking up my pool heater, so it was included, but it might have taken him 30 mins.
The hose and quick connects (if you desire) will be the most expensive parts.

FYI - if you backfeed and your house burns good luck getting anything from your insurance company

I'm talking about the gas line to my dryer. I would never backfeed.

The wall my panel is on is an outside-facing wall, meaning i will have a 4 prong twistlock receptacle installed on that wall. I would ideally park the generator near that receptacle and thus the NG drop would go there too. Which plumber did you use? I'm in BR.
Others in the thread have recommended I unhook the dryer and use that hookup for an NG feed. Unfortunately i only have a hookup for an electric dryer.

Is it still taking 48 weeks to get a 25k liquid cooled unit?
My contractor ordered us one in January and I have not heard anything back from him as to where we are in the pipeline.

Add a tee right after your meter if you can. There is definitely a pressure drop if you are at the far end of the gas line on your house. My regulator is all the way open to get my generator to run. I barely make it out of the grill gas outlet that was already installed on my patio. The flexible gas hose and quick connects to get the generator far from soffits wasn't cheap at all. I'm about 3500-4000 all in to have an electrician install the backfeed and all needed conversions on the 11kw generator. Still less than a permanent whole home and can take it with me to the next house. It runs everything but my downstairs AC (All bed rooms and an extra living room are upstairs)
