Sorry but I'd rather see an interesting team in Portugal in the WC over Macedonia, flame away

It doesn't really help the US out in any way for North Macedonia to win, unless the off chance we get them in our group. We have no shot at Pot 1 so this game pretty much means nothing to us.
I fully expect the North African teams to advance today, and Nigeria from the Sub-Saharan matchup.
I want Poland over Sweden... want to see Lewandoski in the WC one more time. But I won't be upset if we get Zlatan instead.
Logged into my buddy's ESPN+ account and watching Ghana/Nigeria at work. Will bounce around to all the games.

Senegalese fans taking a page out of the Mexico playbook with these thrown water bottles and all the laser pointers in people’s faces.

Senegalese fans throwing trash on the field. Hit Egypt's keeper in the calf after he caught a ball and kept it out of being a corner.

I can't split screen since I can only use my phone at work. And of course I swapped over to Egypt/Senegal and it was already 1-0, and now that I left the Nigeria/Ghana game Ghana has a goal. Going to be that kind of day for me I guess.

Ghana v Nigeria has been wild through 21 minutes.

If Portugal loses, we win, Mexico draws/loses, we're in pot 1.
Is it a long shot? Sure, but we have a shot.

Meh you have to beat good teams to advance anyway let the chips fall

Is away goals a tiebreaker or did CAF get rid of that too?
ETA: The Senegalese fans making El Tri fans look tame. Egypt GK was lining up his goal kick with at least 7 laser pointers on him.

Yeah away goals is the tiebreaker. Ghana got that big goal early.

Grant wahl tweeted Costa Rica has 9 on yellows. If they get one tomorrow they miss the playoff.
I think its assumed they sit the 9
Calvo
Ruiz
Oviedo
Borges
Bennett
Campbell
Martinez
Fuller
Venegas
