Okay guys, I am confused. After the Auburn game everyone thought he was the next best thing to step out of Tiger Stadium. After last night it was a different story with you guys. I understand if he has a good game next week people will be posting about how they did but not really talked to him in IHOP. As a Tiger fan I need to know what to think about him this week.

honestly i didn't think Lee was that bad last night. He was young and i knew if we didn't get a ground game going he would be in a bad spot. some might forget how shitty jr looked in the swamp both times he played there.
also only 1 of those int's were his fault. dickson didn't run a good route on the first one. then the oline helped him 0 causing happy feet. its hard to blame the loss on lee when our d could have gave a shite last night

J Lee is about 6th or 7th in the list of problems that need to be fixed last night. His OLine and running game gave him no help.

The guy is a freshman, and has actually played better than I expected him to at this point. He is going to continue to improve.
I have stated this in a couple of threads today, but I really think he will be one of the top 2 QB's in the next 2 years. He's got all the tools and poise- just needs reps and experience.

THE KID IS A FRESHMAN GIVE HIM A BREAK.i WOULD LIKE TO SEE U AT QB WITH THE LITTLE TIME HE HAD TO PASS. HE WILL BE GOOD WITH A LITTLE MORE EXPERINCE.

Remember when they said LSU's OLine, RBs and WRs were so good and so deep that all the QB needed to do was manage the game? Last night we told JL that we can't run the ball (where was the run blocking?) and we can't give you much pass protection (several times FL rushers came off the edge without being touched to level JL) so it's up to you to pass us down the field and win this game for us. Also, we told JL he had to continuously produce scores since our defense can't stop FL. Is this what they meant by "managing the game?"

ever think the run game didnt get going because lee's inability to throw a bubble screen or anything beyond 10yds?

i realized you were but some are stupid enough to think Lee is a problem. they probably don't remember what JR did in the swamp

i think he's looked really good for a freshman so far. people just have unrealistic expectations. he has the potential to be significantly better than any QB LSU has had in a long time other than JR

i'm not bashing Lee. i think he will be a great qb for us. does anyone else notice that last night and against MSU that he is having trouble putting a lead on the ball. you see a lot of passes were the receivers have to break stride to make the catch. i know it's part of being a freshman, but it is something that needs to be corrected.

No one will dispute the fact the mistakes made by J. Lee were freshman mistakes. Unfortunately our coaching staff is making freshman mistakes as well.

Lee has to learn how to manage the game clock for one! And control his throws a little better. He'll be good, still a rookie.Hatch should have got more time last night.I still like Hatch over Lee because hatch seams to manage the game a little better and can run.He does lack the arm that Lee has.Just my Opinion!

Are you serious? I think some credit has to be given to Florida for playing a great game.

No just 80 percent of his throws were behind the reciever or over there head. None of his throws were accurate but he did not have a bad game. :rotflmao:
