the 4th down Ware sneak
it's not a sneak if it's the only option! :banghead: ...
Play action worked all frickin nite... All les had to do was let met get under center, and hand the ball off. Thats the great thing about play action incorporated into the game plan...! It keeps the defense guessing. Once ware lined up in the backfield the defense didn't have to defend play action p...
Watching the Bama/MS St. Game last night (or the 1st minute of) I noticed how the play calling was very similar to the play calling against LSU in the BCSCG last season. They spread the ball around to involve all play-makers in the game plan, from the start of the game. Most importantly, they are n...

re: Shep in the wildcat next year?
that's what i'm thinking we haven't really seen a real wildcat, so i don't expect to see it next year
no slow, but I think ware takes the snap and either gives to RS or keeps the ball, every once in a while both ware and RS have opportunities to pass the ball... they both did it in...

We r a running team! But there r other ways, besides the option, to run the ball! And our OC has zero creativity when it comes to adjustments and doing things spread the field so we can run. Ie-see how bama move around so much prior to snapping the ball and used decoys, etc... RS didn't even ge...

Hate to tell u it's not just TIger fans that can't understand the offensive game plan. ANyone who watched the game is  .... We were a team with 2 average qbs, who needed a creative game plan to beat a really good team like Bama! Lee got robbed, he has played his role for 4 frickin years...
but no up-the-middle-pitches to Hilliard - who dominated the last few games of the season, no reverses or end-arounds, no post patterns to Randle, no bubble screens to Beckham, no intermediate curls to Peterson, no Jefferson roll-out pass/run options, and no passes or trick plays at all to Sh...

re: Who would be our best wildcat qb?
Missed his freshman year where he averaged 7 ypc? Shep looked great in that role before being moved to WR
1) nope, saw the entire thing, and you're right - the way he was used his Fresh yr would be a better role for him BUT... 2) that was FAR from a true wild cat formation (he N...

if one does not say #10, than that person did not see any of RS's high school video! he was incredible in this type of role in HS and has yet to even be given one chance, in live play, to run a real wild cat play. once I believe in a spring game he did and he would have had a 50 plus yrd td against...
I don't get the hate for Herbstreit. He pimps LSU often.
+1 ...
Shepard is better in the open field. He got a handoff and ripped off 12 yards like it was nothing. They need to find other ways to get him the ball.
This!!! Shep has his place on this team; and God I hope he is used more to spread the field in upcoming games!!! OBjr. is a diff...

To LSU Fans - Regardless of what you think is right or wrong, the only way you will affect the outcome on ANY game is to get loud when the team needs it. Booing helps,,, in NO WAY AT ALL - it can only do harm! These are 19 - 21 yr old young men! Grow up people; LSU has a great team, with much dept...
yeah that catch on the sidelines was right in his numbers. Moron
+1 But I still can’t understand why RS is not used more as a "D McCluster" type back? Maybe we will see more when we get into the big SEC Games but man what a waste of talent if he's not used more to stretch th...

re: Ford should be starting. Thoughts?
He is a good change of pace back. He is better with a worn down defense anyway. I have no problem with how it is set up right now because they get near same # of touches and they both are a different pace for our offense.
this... they r both studs! LSU is looking good!!! :geaux...

AND - that O-line is good; giving lee time to throw the ball is helpful......

re: Lee's developement this year

Posted by tigerchil on 9/18/11 at 9:40 pm
1) he was a freshman thrown into the mix, because the Starting QB got kicked off of the team. Therefore threw all the INTs for TDs in his 1st year (which has since defined him as a QB for some reason) 2) he is a senior now! last year he showed progress from previous years; as any player should t...
