29 years old, under contract thru 2023 with cap hits of $8.7MM and $9MM

Obviously going to be 3rd banana behind Waddle and Hill.

Has averaged 48 catches for 675 yards and 3 TD.

He’s a quality WR that’s had really bad QB play. Cap hit is a little high for my taste, but it’s only 2 years. Should be available for a mid round pick.

This was my first thought after the hill trade. They signed Cedric Wilson too, so gotta figure Parker is available

Had one good year and has had a ton of injuries in recent years.

As badly as we need WRs, he is a definite pass for me.

no, we dont need to trade for any WR at this point.

there will be a lot of WR getting released after the draft to make room for the ones who get replaced with new talent.

after the draft reshuffle of other teams, we will have lots of FA WR to pick from that are 10x better then anything on our team right now.

$2.7M of that is the prorated bonus, so you should be able to get Miami to stick with that. That means he has a base salary of $5.65M & 5.7M respectively, with another $600k in bonus opportunities each year.

Injury history is a concern at that price, I'd rather take a shot at some of the WR still in the market before going this route

I would for sure offer a mid round pick for Parker.

Would be great for locker room chemistry

quote:

The NFL on Fox's Instagram account asked: Which is tougher? A. Make a catch while guarded by Stephon Gilmore, or B. Break up a pass while guarding Michael Thomas.

Parker, who had a breakout year for the Miami Dolphins last season, answered "A" in the comments of the post, which didn't sit well with the New Orleans Saints star receiver.

Thomas replied, "For you, yes. Go run some numbers up. Then you can talk. I lapped you and you been in the league longer than me, first-rounder."

Parker responded: "Got some hard feeling there brotha??? Let me get targeted 300 times a game."

quote:

Thomas continued the spat by writing: "In other words, you weak. They don't even put your name in the same sentence as me. Remember that!" and "You still not going to do nothing. It took you six years and 17 weeks to have a good game. GTFOH. Blame your parents, not no QB." "Quit crying bra,"

Parker told Thomas, including several laughing emojis. After a few more jabs by each receiver, Thomas posted the final words, telling Parker, "You can't even get a seat at the table."

I like Parker but he has a long injury history. Talented player but can't stay on the field consistently.
