When did you decide what gender you are?

I know this is supposed to be a thing, but I can’t recall such a moment or it ever being anything I really pondered one way or another.
Did anyone else have a specific aha moment that they can look back on? Surely many can since it’s a choice and all, no?

Just count yourself as Q until you have that epiphany.

We're having a gender reveal for my son that will coincide with his 10th birthday

I was about 4-5 years old and I saw the little girl in kindergarten…in a dress with a ribbon in her hair….been a mess every since…lol!

I never had such a moment. But I was pretty convinced that I was John Wayne until around the age of 7.

Was there some gender confusion in you before such time? Plus, I’m being told this is distinguishable from sexuality. You seem to be referencing sexuality.

When I was about 5 I flipped through the Sears catalog and looked at the bra ads and thought: 'I wish that nice lady was my mommy.'

Come to think of it, I still have not officially come out publicly and announced my gender.
Does this make me non-binary? Am i eligible for any discounts/benefits?

When I was 3 or 4 I picked up my moms purse and stomped around the house in her wedges. She has a pic of it and you can clearly see the lipstick all over my hands, arms, and face.
Thank god this was the early 90s and not the 2010s otherwise I’d one fricked up he/she.

When I was about 5 watching Little House on the Prairie and Melissa Gilbert gave me an involuntary boner.

When I was way, way little. 2, 3 or 4 little... My parents would take me to a family to watch me that had two Teenage daughters...
One was ok and the other was smoking hot... Somehow as a little baby probably still in diapers I know this one girl was smoking hot over the other.
Sitting here thinking, maybe it was to do with something that is pleasing to the eye even children pick up on it.

I didn’t decide, but family and society definitely reinforced certain traits people associate with maleness that definitely shaped who I am. If that hadn’t happened, I could potentially be less macho or whatever in those respects.
So I didn’t decide, but some of it is social and was decided for me.

I have no issues with gay people.
That said. I don’t understand why they let the Ts and other random letters of the alphabet hijack their movement.
So you are born gay - but figure out your gender later. Got it.

Society shapes our understanding of many things.
Does that actually substantiate what the thing IS, such that it could be something different if we just willed it as such?

Born with a penis. Will always have a penis.
End of discussion.

I've posted before that many of my best friends in college and co-workers were gay. They still are. But I've noticed a common tendency:
They are horrible with money. I recently saw a video of a gay British Marques in 1900 who inherited the family estate and drove it into bankruptcy in 10 years. In today's money he spent 8 billion dollars on personal items. If a diamond ring is nice, a hundred diamond rings is terrific!

WOWZA! And I'm not talking about the girl. I'm talking about that price... 66 cents!

That's like asking my dog when he decided to be a dog, as he proceeds to hump his bed.
