I didn’t visit the link or try to verify the information, but Zelensky doing this sort of thing would be entirely in line with what I think is going on in the world.

A broader point though is that we are in a completely asymmetrical conflict here. It’s the exact same dynamic as COVID.
I will not apply the same standards to counter-narrative information as I do to narrative reinforcing information. It would be like umpiring a game between your local high school and the Yankees and calling the same strike zone for both teams.
Especially if you knew the Yankees were your mortal enemies and the local team was partially comprised of your faithful if a bit retarded friends.
The truth is still supreme and we cannot serve lies, which are of the devil, but we aren’t talking about signing our name to every wacky conspiracy theory, we are talking about trying to glean the truth from whatever sources are available.

So you ran in here to defend a concept without looking for yourself? Case in point.
The reality is there is no way to know - I found 4-5 sites all saying the same thing, none appear very reputable and none have evidence/source material.
Maybe this in general doesn't apply to you, but surely you see the problem in people being convinced elites are trying to manipulate and destroy them but failing to question the people/sources attempting to manipulate them from their own "side", no?

Agreed. People should absolutely question anything that gets to this level and extreme of cultish support. It's creepy.
But just because evil people will take a scenario and manipulate it to their ends doesn't mean the position they're using as the premise of their con is false.
