Win over 78% of his games at New Mexico State. Won the league 4 out of 5 years and finished 3rd the year he didn’t win it

Doesn't seem like a Big Fish

Firing Wade to get someone who hasn't never won a tournament game. Hmmmm

I'd rather San Francisco or Murray States coach

Also won big at the juco level, which we might have to utilize to rebuild this roster

But Wade wasn’t fired for performance. It’s going to be tough to get a big fish not knowing what the NCAA is going to do. A guy like Jans is who you are probably going to end up with.

Was a key piece of Wichita State’s run. Spent 7 years with Gregg Marshall, including the Final Four in 2013. Program started slip after he left.

Coached with former LSU and WSU assistant Greg Heiar at Chipola JUCO. Heiar currently at NW Florida JUCO (in Hutch for JUCO Nationals).

Bring them both in and watch the wins start to pile up.

He’s definitely a big fish.

Honestly surprised he hasn't been picked up by someone else, NmSt has been a solid program

I think a Jans/Heir combo would be lethal

We didn’t fire wade due to performance.

I like the guy from Georgia St. Read his bio. He’s been assistant coach at some big-time programs under some of the best coaches in the country.

That is not relevant really, situation was not a replace the coach for performance and looming sanctions make a big fish unlikely.

I think that is a likely to accept and really good option. Possibility of snagging a soon to hot up and comer before he is in the position of getting to pick his spot. Low risk/high reward hire in this situation.

yep. Wade wasn’t fired so we can get a better coach, he was fired so we can get a clean, more compliant coach.
