Haven’t played them in football since 2009
Haven’t played them in Basketball since 2017 (exhibition)
Haven’t played them in baseball since 2018.

Kinda sad. I would much rather play Tulane than Bethune-Cookman or New Mexico in Football. We do schedule them regularly in baseball, but still.

I was there at the baseball game in 09 when Schimpf and Dean hit back to back homers, then hit back to back homers again in the same inning. Believe they ended up calling the game in the 7th inning because it was out of hand and finals were coming up

I was in Zephyr stadium when they beat our arse in the Super Regional. That was a fun atmosphere.

Tulane has had ups and downs so far this season. Series wins over LA Tech, Miss St., Southeastern LA, but are coming off a series where they got swept by Evansville

should be a good game. any idea who we pitch?

It is sad that Tulane’s administration hasn’t given one frick about sports for many years now.

Tried to kick sand in our faces many times and got their asses kicked.

They deserve what they get.

Mediocrity

Somehow they always thought they were negotiating with LSU from a position of power

Frick those liberal douches. Grew up in Nola and their isn't a more worthless fan base. All they do is exploit Tiger fans charging an arm and a leg for the tickets when we play their sorry arses. Frick em. They didn't want to do a two for 1 in football. They think they are something that they are not.

What was the year when we played a double header against them in the regular season and the two teams damn near got in a brawl? Believe a Tulane pitcher intentionally beaned someone and an LSU batter "dropped" the bat mid swing and it flew to the Tulane dugout. Dudes got ejected from both teams and were banned from playing in the 2nd game. I remember expecting a fight after the 2nd game but it somehow ended about as amicably as it could.

I know times have changed, but even after Tulane left the SEC LSU and Tulane played home and home in basketball for 14 years or so. While that's out of the question I have no idea why we rarely play them in basketball anymore. We typcially play some just terrible non-conference teams. We should be able to make room for Tulane.

I wish we played them in football 6 or 7 times a decade.

I used to hate the toolame football games but now that they’ve been gone for a while I would welcome them back. We play some really random rent a win teams some years and it would be awesome to replace those with tulane and give them a beat down. I would rather play LA Tech and Tulane in baseball and football than some of these D2 schools.
