He’s been dubbed Small Game James by the internet, let’s edit the title.

Ever watch a star become a black hole before your eyes.

James Harden in a Game 7.

He suddenly decides he is Magic Johnson in game 7 or John Stockton. All he does is dish.

Hope the Nets win the title this year just to rub it in

Although that means Ben Simmons wins one...

Nevermind

He’s an anomaly. He’s one of the most efficient offensive players ever but yet also at the same time incredibly overrated.

One could also argue if the recent rules changes occurred 10 years ago that he never comes close to his current status.

that is a dumb take. Harden has a great handle, elite passer, good three shooter, is strong to hoop and has elite body control. He would be good in any era.

The rule changes allowed him to play lazy basketball and still be really good in the regular season. Just hunt chicken shite fouls and get to the rim all night

When he is locked in doing PNR and getting to rim or dishing the ball, he is fun to watch and great. The problem is that he falls into lazy trappings that turn into bad habits like hunting fouls and never moving without the ball. His foul seeking habits kill him in the playoff time when they don't call them as much.
