Unless the sanctions are rendered soon the pool of coaches who would accept the job will be very limited.

Once Woody whips out that checkbook, they’ll be PLENTY of coaches interested.

Masking said exactly what's going to happen there will not be any 2 year 3 year ban and he is absolutely right may not even be a 1 year wake up remember because of transfer portal you can turn everything around in 1 year

This is not football we’re not getting a high profile accomplished coach even if Wade was leaving of his own accord and no sanctions.

That would be sweet. It would also point to Football going Scot-free if that were the case.

The problem is we don't know how long it's going to take to find out what our punishment will be.

Brady on a 1-2 year short term contract would be one thing. Nothing more than that, though. And only if we are truly struggling to get a long term solution right now.

I like this. I never fully understood why Brady was fired. SEC champs and a Final Four should have given him enough goodwill to keep the job for a while

Because he was a hot headed prick who was insubordinate.

He earned getting let go.

He's also back with us for a while and is on our broadcasts. Time has healed this wound. He's a different person now.

But back then? Absolutely deserved to be shown the door.

The facilities will help solidify that point.

Right, and he seems to be pretty happy with his current gig and stress-free lifestyle. He can do what he’s doing now until he dies. Almost no jobs end well, no matter how much success they have in the beginning. So, if Brady doesn’t retire after cutting down some nets, he’s likely to get fired like almost all coaches eventually do.

Another one who totally misses the point. This is not a normal hire where the coach has to justify his continued employment after 3 to 4 years. It will be entered into with the full understanding its a temporary fix so that a coach is not hired under looming sanctions and does not spend his first couple of years with a limited roster and likely a tournament ban. When Woodward is in a better spot to entice a high level coach Brady steps back to the plaudits of a grateful Tiger nation. He is not being fired,

Don't have a clue except it won't be Brady.

That may be the truest thing you said. Whoever is hired if not Brady will likely be someone we don't have a clue about, some obscure coach who is willing to acept the position under all of the adversity.
