Woodward - trust the process

I know how the rants works.

Consider if Brian Kelly deal was done within a couple weeks of the Ed O announcement mid season last year, way before Lincoln Riley was in the picture. I’m not getting into sauces bc of how this place is. But let’s say that’s true.

New allegations may be bringing the inevitable and they have held strong but now making a decision to slightly get ahead of it.

It’s easy to call for Woodward’s head bc we overall love general Wade, his recruiting, his swagger. But this decision could have been inevitable. Yeah, the timing sucks bc we have been there before the ncaa tourney. It sucks bc we want the best for our program. We want all the 5 stars he’s recruited.

But, this decision likely was going to happen. Maybe we actually trust Woodward’s decision making.

I loved Wade too. But preserving integrity at LSU is also Woodward’s job. We held strong for 4 years. Something more has come up.

Here’s to hoping the next hire has as much fire as Wade. I hate he’s gone. But stop hating on Woodward. His leadership to this point hasn’t failed and the more we watch what Brian Kelly has done, the more he proves he was the best hire.
