rewatching Parks and Rec...such a good series.

A few notes...
Chris Pratt is fantastic in it, to think they didn't have him cast to do more than the first few episodes originally...
I really appreciated Ron and April's connection more this time around..
I know some people found him annoying, but thought Jon Ralphio should have had more screen time.
Rob Lowe's character got annoying pretty quick this time around.
I enjoyed Tom's character more this time around for some reason.
Anyway, those are random thoughts, but that show is up there towards the top for me on comedy series.

Great series. I can rewatch S1-5 anytime, I thought it kinda dragged towards the end but that usually happens.
I rewatched the episode where Jerry fakes being mugged last night and fell into the creek going after a burrito. I laughed the whole episode.
I felt Jean Ralphio had just enough screen time. Sorta like Creed in the Office. More would have been to much. But him and Tom together were always good for a laugh.
I'm in the minority on here but I actually liked Mark Brendanawicz. His dry humor was funny and we all have someone we work with like that.

I think he got the right amount of screen time.
My favorite part of Parks is all of the crazy side characters.

Yeah I definitely do not agree. He just didn't fit the show and Adam Scott was a WAY better straight man.
Once Mark was gone the show became classic.

I almost gave up on it because i think the first season and a half are weak, but it really finds it's stride when Lowe and Scott join the cast.

yeah, agreed, I think mid-season 4 was the peak for me.

I started to do a rewatch as a companion to go along with Rob Lowe who started a rewatch podcast with one of the writers but then once I started listening to the podcast they pretty much never talk about the show, so it’s unnecessary to rewatch the show in that regard

is that the one with Andy Samberg as the Park Ranger? if so, that whole episode was hilarious...
Been kinda fun to look out for the Brooklyn 99 connections through the series, Chelsea Peretti makes a cameo on of the epsidoes

Characters like him (and Creed in The Office)...there's a sort of balancing act. It is very easy to have too much.
