EW has the full scoop on Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi, including the exclusive first episodic images — showing not only the return of McGregor as Kenobi, but also Joel Edgerton as Uncle Owen. We also have your first look at the franchise's fearsome new villain in the form of a relentless Inquisitor named Reva (played by The Queen Gambit's Moses Ingram).
quote:
What kind of Obi-Wan Kenobi will we meet in Obi-Wan Kenobi? Says star Ewan McGregor: "We find Obi-Wan at the beginning of our story rather broken, and faithless, and beaten, somewhat given up."
As the force-sensitive Inquisitor Reva, Moses Ingram will prove a formidable new foe as she seeks out Jedi-in-hiding for the Empire. Director Deborah Chow and writer Joby Harold describe the character as ruthlessly ambitious.
"They share a common dark-side goal," Ingram says about the villainous trio of Reva, the Grand Inquisitor, and Darth Vader. "They're on the same team." As for what stands out most to Ingram about her big bad: "It's all heart."

Is Joel Edgerton reprising his role as Uncle Owen?

Damn, wasn’t expecting Joel back.

So is she Third Sister? Not sure if we ever saw a Third Inquisitor

Okay.. looks like all the other star wars stuff.

Looks way better than the lord of the rings show.

Black female villain? How is she redeemed by the end of the first season?

I enjoyed the Inquisitor stuff in The Fallen Order video game...looking forward to seeing more of it in this show.

Almost as predictable as you complaining about it. Quite the pattern you’re developing.

Ewan McGregor is older than Liam Neeson was when Phantom Menace was made. Damn.

Inquisitor from Jedi fallen order. Vader ends up killing her, which for you I'm sure is a better outcome than redemption. So you can relax now.

Shouldn't we all complain about shows being predictable?
You like your entertainment to be predictable?

Great game.

This is nonsense. The events of that game occur prior to when this series is set.
This is actually a great example of exactly what I'm talking about.

It was not until shortly before her death, when she finally saw the light and made amends with her former master, that she turned away from the dark side. For that crime, Darth Vader executed her personally.
Predictable.

Inquisitor from Jedi fallen order.
Honestly, she looked far eastern/Indian maybe.
