Has Putin exposed the green energy nonsense

As bad as the situation is over there, has Putin helped push back against the radical green energy movement? People all over the world are now directly feeling the impact of the sudden supply drop in oil. Even Elon Musk (posted on OT already) is coming out stating that they need to increase domestic oil production within the states knowing it hurts Tesla.
