Now, you’ve got Jobert out of the lineup. Non starter for me. Jobert in RF. Gio doesn’t give you enough defensively to make up for what you lose by taking Jobert out of the lineup. Besides, Gio doesn’t help with the specific defensive problems. It’s the infield and Berry. Berry to DH and Jobert to RF at least takes care of Berry being on the field. You want to give Gio some starts, give him some in LF. Dugas could sit a game a week or so.

How much more production at the plate do you expect Jobert to give you over Gio?

TBH, Jobert didn't look great this weekend. I mean, if it's decisive, then let's roll with Jobert. I just didn't see it this weekend.

I'm not ready to declare Jobert better than Dugas just yet.

Oh hell no. I wouldn’t sit Dugas unless he’s limping.
He’s not getting much to hit this year yet. He’s getting walked and plunked, not seeing pitches to hit.

Jobert is 2 for 12 against teams not named Maine, Southern, Townson, and UNO.

Gio stroked a couple of balls this weekend, but just hit them right at people.

With that being said, I'm intrigued by Jobert in RF. I think you have to move Berry to DH.

Hopefully JJ throws Jobert in LF this midweek so we can see what he does defensively

What do you lose offensively? A few more HRs against scrubs? What has Jobert done to solidify him as a guy that can’t be taken out of the lineup?

So you have a problem removing Jobert based on 12 games of action but no problem removing Dugas who was, arguably, LSU's best bat in the SEC last season.

Makes sense.
