It’s good hearing these reports. We’ve been planning on taking the kids, and the $3000+ budget expectations are unnerving. We’re not made of money, so Disney would probably end up being the biggest vacation we take our kids on in their elementary years.

We went in January of this year. Cast Members were all extremely nice and courteous.

Park was pretty packed for off peak but seems that’s the trend. Although I do hear from regulars that make multiple trips that it’s declining and costs are rising. They’re still short staffed as is everyone these days.

Go on a Disney cruise. You will not regret spending the money and your kids will love it. I promise!

Unless you're neck deep in Pixar and princesses, Universal is twice as good, for half the price.

If that's your budget go somewhere else.

You might be able to park there for 3k.

3 grand where are yall staying in th car in the parking lot? 3 kids fastpass and flights to and from 8,000 plus spending money. I hate fricking disney but wife said we need to take the youngest. This was Thanksgiving before covid. I can only assume it's more expensive and less services

Makes me very happy to know our vacation all over the American Frontier last Summer was smarter than Disney.

For about $4k we were able to take 4 kids on a 10 day 2900 mile road trip(fly MSY to Vegas, fly Denver to MSY)

Vegas(just sight-seeing the strip and video games at NY Hotel)
Hoover Dam
Grand Canyon
Zion National Park
Salt Lake City(Antelope Island State Park)
Yellowstone
Mt Rushmore
Royal Gorge
Garden of the Gods
Tour of Air Force Academy
White Water Rafting in Salida.
