They’re afraid to be the firsts to go into $4.x, but it’s coming in the next couple days I’m sure.

Owned by Arabs. This shouldn’t surprise anyone.

I purposefully have driven past that place for 20 years. If people want to pay $1 more per gallon, fine, but not me jack.

It’s truly amazing that anyone actually purchases gas there. It’s always easily 15-20 cents higher than the rest of the city.

Not even like it’s in a spot where it’s the only option. Who are the people who fill up there?

I’ve noticed a couple of the stations around BR have several partially removed “I did that” stickers.

I do. The one farther down Jefferson at Lobdell usually has a line to get gas and the one the other direction down Jefferson at Drusilla is ghetto. It’s about convenience.

Probably rich people who don’t want to go to the Circle K at Jefferson and Lobdell or deal with homeless people and displays of crack pipes at College and Corporate.

Seems like it would be easier to just leave them, but I like efficiency.

Why would he do that? I'd leave them there and probably put some more on them myself.

I guess I get that if you live and work in that small area. For anyone who has to commute only as far as Essen Goodwood or College, I can’t imagine ever filling up there.

It really is one of the safer gas stations around. Not having to look over your shoulder to make sure a homeless person isn't going to hit you in the head with a brick is priceless

In years past, I've actually seen this place 60c higher than the city's average. I never understood how they have gotten away with that level of gauging for a regulated product La. Dept of Agriculture. The only other place I've seen like this was this Italian mafia looking dude that owned a gas station/mechanic in Hammond, but he advertised as "full service" to get past that loophole.

It’s $3.78 at the Murphy Express on Jefferson. Just fyi.

Well, the affluent residents of Bocage, of course. It’s a nice and convenient gas station that found it’s niche
