Any of you reloading gurus know of any rifle primers in stock anywhere? Been tough to find lately.

Small rifle primers are around online, get on ammoseek and hit the reloading tab at the bottom.
Large rifle primers you can forget it. Still going $200+ for a thousand on gunbroker.

gun broker. Large rifle have been decent, small and srm are still high as GP.

I've been seeing them quite regularly at Academy. They are usually behind the counter.

I found small rifle primers at Academy not long ago. They get primers in from time to time. I check every time I'm near one.

What kind of load are you working up? Could you possibly substitute regular primers or Winchester LR (Winchester uses same primer for both magnum and regular) instead of magnum? I've got a lot of Winchester LR primers I could sell to you if you're nearby.

Small rifle primers have been fairly easy to find for a while. Large pistol a little bit less, but still possible. Large rifle and magnum rifle, you had to put in a lot of work, but they could be found and were expensive. For well over a year, small pistol primers have been unicorn farts. However yesterday, two legitimate sites had them, but you had to buy 5,000 quantity at a time. Hopefully the end to this nightmare is near.
