There shouldn't be anything wrong with presenting another point of view. And normally there isn't, another situation and this would be fine. The only difference is they want war. The only reason they are villifying anyone who attempts to deviate from their view is to garner consent for war

He can be both a bloodthirsty ex-KGB monster who poisons his enemies, and also have some legitimate concerns.

I'm rather indifferent to him. He's cut from classic Soviet cloth. He's been open about restoring USSR territory and has done so by force.

I doubt he's a "good guy" but his being a "good guy" or "bad guy" doesn't really have any bearing on my life or how the US should interact in global affairs.

The Russians sort of thought that when they granted these European states independence, they would be independent neutral free states that were between NATO and Russia. But NATO has been gobbling them up one at a time... all the eurotrash and CIA and American politicians with their hands out and their dirty deals.

And this shiit goes on and on and they crowd Russia, right up to their border.

Oh, and they use Putin as a punching Bag. They make false claims about him controlling candidates and Presidents. They put out fake dossiers about Trump in Moscow and fake murders.

Just shameless liars. You know they are. They lie to us constantly. You know damn well Putin, in his position, knows how evil the west is.

So he's fighting back. He sweeping the filth back away from his door step. He's setting rat traps for all the rats scurrying back and forth between Kieve and Moscow.

It looks like he's doing this in a restrained way, trying to limit the damage and casualties. And that I appreciate.

So let's not be hypocritical about the "monster" Putin victimizing
Ukrainians. The US holds the global record for a military kills post wwII. Six million conservatively. Most civilians.

And if course, being from the south, I can tell you that you better deal with Washington D.C. from strength or you end up in a body bag. Many of my ancestors discovered that the hard way.

Putin's just not going out that way. He's not going to be "reset" like the western elite are about to reset our stupid asses. Like, "we're not gonna owned anything and we are going to like it."

That's just not for him. And I'm cool with it. He's showing the west the only thing they appreciate. Strength.

So I broke a rule. I didn't begin my comments with the compulsory attack on Putin as a "bloodthirsty x-KGB monster", that most people lead with to avoid some early twenties leftist with a bad complexion fingering them as a traitor.
