By missing a facemask? Okay? If you told me refs would miss a facemask resulting in a TD, but they would have my teams back to assure we score at the end. Sign me up for that every time. It's not even remotely the same. A phantom call when there hasn't been a call all game to give a fresh set of downs is far worse. Especially if they aren't going to call it on the following possession.

Explain to me how they didn't give the Rams a fresh set of downs resulting in TD?

Also, explain to me how this isn't holding if that tacky call was?

Either call this stuff or don't. That is an absolute mugging.

Don't go making questionable calls with less than 2 minutes left in the game. Especially if you haven't called anything all game long. The players adapt to the officiating. At least if they made the facemask call the Bengals would still have had an opportunity to respond to it. Giving the Rams a fresh set of downs when it would have been 4th with less than 2 minutes is more influential to the outcome. Especially considering where they were on the field when it was called.

I've never seen anything like it. Wisconsin fans don't give a frick what Seattle or Indy are doing. Michigan fans weren't NE or TB fans. OSU fans didn't suddenly become Bears fans. etc etc etc
Dude even the local news stations in New Orleans/Baton Rouge were fangirling the Bengals - truly nauseating. WWL posted some "get 'em next year Joe and Jamaar!" shite and I'm kinda like HOLD THE frick UP THEY PLAY THE SAINTS NEXT YEAR YOU DUMB SHITS. Also, that's a direct f**k you to OBJ who is FROM NEW ORLEANS.

It's absolutely absurd.

Meh, there's been a lot of love given to all the LSU players participating in the SB by the media in Louisiana. On FB, from my central La perspective most of the love and hype was for Whitworth. I like Burrow, but all the extra love comes from this board, which is understandable.

It was pretty rough all season long, but it is on another level tonight.

Cincinnati needs to upgrade their OL, we get it

Burrow is not going to force a trade

Taylor is not going to get fired

The refs did not cost Cincinnati the game

Give it a fricking rest already
Not to worry. I've alerted the authorities. They are on their way to your house to disarm the guy holding a gun to your head forcing you to read each and every one of them.

I can see pimping players somewhat for the SB, but it's been 2 seasons of Cincy on this board. Very odd. You'd think they were the home team reading this place.

Which one? I see two muggings that got "ignored."

They really overachieved if you really think about it. They arguably had the worst offensive line to make a super bowl appearance. They also lost to the browns, bears and the jets during the regular season

The Browns went 8-9 this season and just won 11 games last year. Also, Joe Burrow is 0-4 against the Browns since being in Cincinnati. Not sure why you threw the Browns in there? Maybe Joe can finally beat the Browns in year 3?

There were multiple atrocious calls on that last drive that kept the Rams alive to score a TD. It was blatant

The thing that stuck out the most to me was the Rams stupidly not trying to eat up clock and seal it there. That game came very close to a Cincy regular season win or at worst overtime with the time they left them on the clock

It wasn't a facemask, it was a takedown by the facemask.

Blaming the refs is low IQ.

Burrow is 0-2. He was hurt in game 2 last year, and this year he was sitting on his couch resting for the playoffs when y’all played in week 18. He didn’t even make the trip.

Burrow is the king of AFC North now.

Deal with it.

This is where you lost me. That sequence on the final Rams drive was extremely fricking sketchy. I am not a conspiracy theorist but it's hard to look at that and not think there was some shenanigans.
