If we can throw strikes consistently this team can win the SEC and make a run

We need two dominate pitchers to make any noise. We havent had that since lange and poche. Hopefully we get two to show up soon

I don’t believe facts support that claim that we must have 2 dominant pitchers to make any noise

No shite. You and I could be the starters and this team will "make noise" simply on offensive production.

He’s right, I think Dandy Don does ask good questions.

And The closer we get to the start, the more forthcoming he is getting with information.

Blake Money’s name has popped up a lot with both he & Kelly. He’s been the 1st name out of each’s mouth. I wonder if we are talking Friday night starter.

On the hitting side, it’s something I’ve been filing away but he always names Crews-Berry—Morgan—Doughty.

He leaves Dugas off and I wonder if he just has not been that impressed with him

He wants Dugas to remain the best kept secret.
Everyone talks about those other guys meanwhile Dugas spanks 19 homeruns.

I think this is because of the transformation Blake has committed himself to. Dropping the weight, improving his fitness level should absolutely translate to better performances on the mound. Can't wait to see it.

I love when yall downvote Ree just cos it's Ree. His post is fine. Just info about Johnson. Wait until he says something stupid at least.

Gervase is a sleeper. If he can throw strikes, he’s deadly.

I don't think him leaving off Dugas is accidental. The 4 he mentions are the most talented hitters on the team.

Having said that, Dugas is a heck of a #5 or #6 hitter in a lineup.

Looking forward to watching scrimmage action on Sat and Sunday to compare how the team looks now to the fall.

There's a school of thought in college baseball that pitching a lot of guys is not a winning strategy due to inconsistency. I will say, having a lot of guy throw innings could be beneficial in the postseason if you end up in a losers bracket somewhere.

The MLB has changed their philosophy and it’s trickling down to college. And honestly, Sully was doing it before anyone else. He sold Aces on not burning them out and saying he’s going to showcase them for 5-6 innings and not wear them down which theoretically should extend their careers.

He spoke very highly of Dugas this morning on Off the Bench. Said he was very unselfish in deciding to come back, is a great leader on the team, etc.

Yes, he spoke entirely about his character. No mention of him as a baseball player.

For the record, I think Dugas will be fine.
