Heard the Nets, 76ers, Pelicans and Thunder were / are trying to figure out a deal with James Harden, Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons as part of it. James Harden would end up in Philly.

Per James Stewart, a blue check with a relatively decent amount of followers.
Edit: Sorry this is from mid day yesterday, we may no longer be involved given we completed our trade (although obviously still possible)

When i looked at it yesterday, this worked money wise
Nets: Simmons, Nance
OKC: Harris
Philly: Harden
Pels: ?
Question would be what we recieve. Would Philly send a 1st to Atlanta on our behalf to get Huerter?
Since we have CJ now, would Brooklyn be interested in Graham instead of Nance?
A whole lot of different ways we could fit in

Does anyone know if we can trade Snell and Nance right now?
When you try to trade them in the good NBA trade machine it gives this error, which makes sense if the Portland deal is completed and not left open.
SO if this is right, then we can trade them, but it has to be only Nance out, or only Snell out.
I don't think anyone wants Snell.
I dont' think the Nets want Nance with Aldridge/Milsap/Griffin/James Johnson on their team.
OKC could care less about adding anyone so they wouldn't be giving us anythign back in a trade unless we gave them a pick to bring in one of their good young players, but i don't know who we'd actually want from them.
Philly losing Tobias and Simmons would make sense to want Nance, and Tobias/Simmons salary is a good bit higher than Harden's. They can actually take in Harden/Nance for Simmons/Tobias and get under the tax.
I think we should be trying to get Korkmaz from them.

Larry Nance cannot be traded to a team aggregated with other players from his team because 2 months have not passed since he was traded for. He can only be traded away to a team by himself and other non-player assets from his team (draft picks, cash considerations, etc). This restriction expires after Apr 09, 2022.

I always thought once the trade was official we could not trade them, but every time I think I understand an NBA rule, I don't.

Makes him a candidate to be traded in the offseason or the next trade deadline.

Yes he can be traded, byt he has to be the onlt player coming from the Pels.
We couldnt do something like combine Nance and Graham to bring back Buddy, it would have to be only Nance.

Lance cannot be traded for 60 days with another player. (off season because of the deadline).
If it was 1 player for 1 player he can be. That won't happen though.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought last I heard/saw was the Pels-Blazers deal while "done" still isn't official because they were looking to add a 3rd team. I wonder if that had anything to do with keeping the door open to get more out of a potential Harden-Simmons deal.

I thought it was done, hence why all the players are traveling and getting their physicals done today so they can play tomorrow.

Yea it has to be done for the players to report for medicals.

They have Patty Mills, so not sure why they would want Graham.
WHen you look at the rosters, if philly does move Tobias and Simmons, they need a PF. I can't see the Nets being nice enough to give them one of their former all-star PF's they have.

also I believe the team is not allowed to announce it until it is final. we have already welcomed the new guys and thanked the old ones, in addition to Griff speaking about the trade last night
