Best method to negotiate a salary?

Found out through a former accountant today that my boss makes 3 times more than me. Absolutely ridiculous salary. He does jack shite as well.
What’s the best approach to present a case for a more than significant raise?

Kill your boss and take his job

If you don't know why he is making 3x more than you, you're missing something. Also, you should ask yourself what is he doing/what does he have that you do not. If the answer truly is "nothing" than you need to look for another job making his salary.
In the more likely scenario that he has more experience or certifications or advanced degrees or owns his own business than you have your answer.

I mean, I’m not condoning it, but you asked the question…
Went from a Jr High teacher to the leader of a hedge fund no one currently knows. He found a friend that gave him a house worth 75 million dollars. What a great networker!

Offer to replace your boss for 2/3 his current pay. No matter how you do it, definitely let them know you know how much money the boss makes.

You claim to have paid over $60k in taxes last year... Either you're a liar or you lucked into a much bigger salary than you deserve

Mercedes S. Johnson is who you need to contact immediately

Go in and talk about your contribution and then just say you’d like more money. If the boss asks, say double.

Why does someone who makes minimum wage need an accountant?

If you feel you’re worth more and irreplaceable, get a job offer elsewhere as leverage.
