Thanks for the replies everyone. All very helpful. I’m a poor college student, and not an OT baller, so I’ll probably have to sit in the hog pen, instead of down the lines, but I plan on bringing lots of beer, and having fun watching LSU kick some arse. I have pretty thick skin, and if things get too rowdy, I won’t mind showing those rednecks what Cajun strength is all about.

Never been to another SEC ballpark, and Baum is one of the ballparks I really want to go to, along with the New Dude. I’m looking forward to going up there and getting to experience college baseball at other places besides Alex Box. Should be a great atmosphere too, which is what makes college baseball so great. Hopefully there will be some other LSU brethren out there, so that my friend and I won’t be the only ones out there in purple and gold.

And I assume beer is a beverage that you can bring into the Hog Pen? Just want to make sure there’s no rule saying it has to be non alcoholic beverages.

BYOB in the Hog Pen. No glass bottles and probably a good idea to bring cups. Bring your ice chest in and chairs. Cops are around but they won’t bother unless they see glass bottles. You’re still free to go to concourses, but you cannot take any cups of any kind from Hog Pen to main concourse area.

There are also grills in the Hog Pen. You can bring charcoal, meat, etc. but those go pretty fast.

Hell some years ago when Arkansas and Arizona State played a midweek #1 vs. #1 series at Baum, kids had couches on rollers bringing them in. They will check your ice chests when entering now. Just fyi.

I've been to every series in Fayetteville since 2014
..wear purple and gold.

Make sure your lawn chair sits higher, there's not much slope in the hog pen and could effect the view.

The Mexican restaurant and wing place across the street are good. Go to Nomads down the street for a cool local bar.

It’s a good stadium, but not a “perfect 2022 stadium.”

Got it, when I went I really enjoyed the seats I had but you seem to be well versed on the stadium so take your opinion. I liked the size of the place and just see some of these Goliath Stadiums going to more specialty type areas and getting rid of the open seating.
