Right now the books say that 70% of the public money is on LSU +6. still the line is not being lowered.

I got +6 at bodog. Sadly I took it. I know better to bet on LSU but evidently I don't

It dropped to +4 right after it opened for some reason, I am guessing the health of Harvin. About the same time less than 24 hours later every book had it at 6.

im still not quite sold on lsu just yet.

auburn is in the bottom 3 in the sec this year imo and lsu struggled hard to win that game plus they allowed auburn to score more against them then any sec team has this year.

ill probably stay away from this one, but i believe florida is 6points better than lsu so i would take the gators in the points if i do end up betting on this one

Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Tenn are all below Auburn. I wouldn't be surprised to see Auburn finish 3rd in the West above Ole Miss

everyone keeps saying lsu's defense gave up the most points to auburn of any sec team but really what is the difference between 14 and 13. both were two touchdowns, auburn just missed an extra point against vandy.

on top of the fact we played at auburn and vandy got them at home that stat is pretty meaningless to me.

thats what I keep telling'em knapp. It was on the road and they seem to forget that there was a defensive td.

giving up 14 points in that kind of environment is never something to be ashamed of.

I argue daily with an auburn fan at work about this. needless to say he hasn't been in my office since the vandy game.

They beat Miss. State and Tenn. They are much better than Arkansas. I also bet they finish better than SC, Ole Miss, and probably UK.

Auburn has the talent and coaching. My bet is they finish 7-5 or 8-4 overall. They lost two close games to ranked teams so far. And they won two close games to bad teams. Verdict its still out

There is Ark, Miss State and they already bet Tennessee. They are not below UK and Ole Miss, but even if you think so, that still prolly means they go to a bowl.

first off we had 2 inexpirienced QB's making palying their first road SEC game, next they only scored 14 on our D and don't give me they only scored 3 on Miss State, the transitive property does not work.

but i believe florida is 6points better than lsu

based on what extactly? Their play against Miami? They might be but back your arguments with substance.

If it did GT would be the top team in the SEC

like i said i would place my money on florida if i were to bet on this game...

there is no way i would touch lsu in the points because i am not totally sold on them being a top 5 team yet.

quote:

substance

-inexperienced qbs
-struggled against auburn who i believe is a bottom team in the sec. if they are a middle of the road team than the conference is weaker than i originally thought.
-weak secondary
-florida has more to play for given the fact that they already have 1 loss in conference play (emotion is a huge part in the college game)

ill admit i have not seen a more dominating defensive line then lsu's this season, but since the competition they have faced has been subpar the jury is still out on how exceptional this unit actually is.

i will not bet on this one, but if i were if would be for florida. my formula puts them as a 6 point favorite and the sagarin predictor has them as a 17 point favorite.
